Welcome to the Educators for Community Engagement online journal.
Although the Educators for Community Engagement focuses on convening
one big event a year, the National Gathering, ECE members hold
learning circles and learning circle trainings throughout the year
across the country. This online journal is dedicated to collecting and
disseminating the stories of ECE members who are engaging in
democratic education and learning circles in their communities
nationwide.
The ECE online journal accepts articles from ECE members on topics
that address democratic education, service-learning, learning circles
and community engagement broadly. To submit to the online journal
please email the Educators for Community Engagement at
